Eastern Europe

lightapp is working in Eastern Europe to bring millions of people access to inexpensive, and powerful computing solutions. Computing and internet access will significantly increase the social, economic and educational benefits to the Balkans and surrounding area.

Access to Internet infrastructure and broadband will

  • give the region national and international capacity to establish Internet businesses,
  • aid the take-up in technology for the banking, healthcare, government and education sectors to grow productivity beyond traditional economic ceilings,
  • allow services to be exported from the region without migration, keeping the best and brightest firmly within the national economies.

lightapp will bring the lessons learned from developed Internet countries to use the latest techniques for environmentally friendly*, low cost and service oriented Internet deployment. Our unique managed services will provide personal computing as an ‘always on’ service, accessible from anywhere at any time and maintained such that software updates, backups and hardware failures are a thing of the past. The services give users a portable, personal, environmentally friendly and maintenance free computing experience that radically shifts the price of computing to an affordable level for this regional market.

lightapp is working in the Balkan region to create points of presence in Sofia, Plovdiv, Bucharest and Istanbul. From Bucharest and Sofia lightapp will provide a managed services business to serve regional and global customers. Services offered will focus on the growing trend of software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure services and offsite storage.

We are in discussions with leading local ISPs, system integrators and other potential partners in order to establish strategic partnerships in the region. If you are interested in becoming one of our partners, or becoming a lightapp reseller, please contact us.
