Joshua Cooper - CEO
Prior to founding lightapp, Joshua was founder and CTO of Boltblue, the UK's largest mobile portal. Under his leadership, Boltblue grew at an unprecedented speed, culminating in over 7 million registered users and 60 million page impressions per month. With over 17 years of experience, Joshua is well known for his expertise in Internet technologies. He has worked in the data warehousing, process management and software development industries at two start-up firms in the United States (Infominers.com and Flow Management Technologies) and at Nortel Networks. Joshua holds a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer in New York, USA.
Clive Eisen – CTO
Clive joined lightapp from lastminute.com where he was Head of Technical Operations; managing the technology platform at time of the company's initial public offering. Clive lent his practical management style to implementing numerous efficiencies in the lastminute.com offering and systems. He started his career in the travel technology sector, spending 14 years at Travel 2 where he successfully worked his way up to the position of IT Director. Clive holds a BSc Computers and Cybernetics degree from Kent and Canterbury University.
Mircea Bucur – MD Eastern Europe
With over nine years experience in IT and telecommunications, Mircea joined lightapp from a consultancy role at Avanti Communications, where he advised on strategic business development. Prior to Avanti Mircea held commercial roles at Romtelecom S.A, the largest telecommunications provider in Romania, and at Ager Business Tech S.A. At Romtelecom, Mircea set up the wholesale national sales department and developed strategic alliances that resulted in a 50% increase in sales volumes. Mircea holds an MBA from the Cass Business School, and a BA in Economics (first class honors) from the Economics Academy in Bucharest.
