What do I need?

Getting started couldn’t be easier. All you need is broadband, the lightapp device, a screen, keyboard and, of course, a lightapp account.

Broadband     You need a broadband connection of at least 512K - our service works at this low a speed.
A screen and keyboard     lightapp sources the most cost-effective and energy efficient equipment from a range of leading suppliers.Or you can use an existing keyboard and either of the following screens:
  • TV
  • Computer
Connecting to broadband     For less than £100 you can buy the lightapp hardware that connects your screen and keyboard to broadband, so you don't need a computer at all.
